No sound from one speaker due to audio mixer balance not adjusted
Cause:
There is an incorrect balance in audio mixer.
Solution:
Adjust the balance in the audio mixer.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Programs'.
3) Select 'Accessories'.
4) Select 'Multimedia'.
5) Select 'Volume Control'. (The 'Master Out' or the 'Wave Input' dialog box appears.)
6) If the 'Wave Input' dialog box appears:
a) From the menu, select 'Options' and select 'Properties'.

b) Under 'Adjust volume for', select 'Playback'.
c) In the 'Show the following volume controls:', make sure that there is a check in all of the check boxes.
d) Click 'OK'. (The 'Master Out' box appears.)

7) Click and hold down the balance control slide bar.
8) Move the slide bar to the right or left to change the balance.
9) Release the mouse button when the balance is at a desired level.
10) Repeat steps 7) through 9) on all slide bars in the 'Master Out' dialog box.
11) When you have completed increasing the volume of all slide bars, select the 'Options' menu and choose 'Exit'.
